HI.
I'M ERIC.

Born by the sea and raised in the mountains, I've got a profound love for wild places and exploring mother nature's finest offerings.

Since my early days, art has been an important part of my life. Back then it was drawing and painting, now it's taking photos and writing stories. Since my first black and white photography class in college, my desire for capturing special moments in time with the click of a shutter button grows stronger with each photo I take. In turn, my photography has led me to a newfound love of writing and storytelling. My number one  goal is to bring the viewer into the story and inspire them to step out of the ordinary and experience new adventures of their very own.

I have worked with web based publications such as Shoulders of Giants, The Outbound Collective, and Bikepacker.com to produce adventure stories, outdoor cooking ideas, and gear reviews. In addition to these stories, I have created content for the Jackson Hole based technical clothing company Stio, the Minnesota based bicycle company Advocate Cycles, and the Maine based [oh-so delicious] dehydrated meal company Good To-Go. My other blog, CT Journal, was created to document and share the process of preparing for a large scale thru-bike mission of the entire Colorado Trail with my significant other.

Beyond producing content for others, one of my passions remains to continue my involvement with non-profit organizations by producing fundraising and outreach events on their behalf. These organizations include World Bicycle Relief, Protect Our Winters, and the Range Of Motion Project. As I carry forward the projects that I am involved with, I am continually humbled by the support of those in the outdoor and cycling industries and ever grateful for the relationships I've built upon a foundation of helping others.

Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to explore the work that I am very proud of. Please feel free to reach out with any questions, comments, or any interest in working together. I look forward to hearing from you. See you on the trail!
